Bob Babiarz Antiques



Located at the end of Hall H (which is the hall between the restaurant and the office) in booths 520 and 521, you will find Bob Babiarz, and his eclectic range of interesting antiques.









Bob has just about every category covered in his displays, from quality paintings, to fine china, to media collectibles, to primitives. He always has something very unique among his offerings.









Among some of the items pictured are:
Crown cranberry compote and glasses; Roseville and McCoy;
W.S.&S.
German turn of the century goblets; and a collection of cobalt glass.




























Bob always has a nice variety of collectible paintings and prints like these by: Audubon; Rizzi (lithograph); Ray Harm (Ducks); Currier & Ives; and Gruguin.






























Bob is very interesting and knowledgeable, and has been an antiques dealer for over 10 years. Before his current profession, he was in the building industry, and was a casino dealer for 10 years at Turning Stone Resort in central New York State.

Grosgrain Annie's Ribbon Emporium......



At the Ribbon Emporium you'll enjoy a step back in time upon entering JoAnne's nostalgic recreation of a turn-of-the-century millinery shop.....filled with beautiful hand-dyed ribbon and a multitude of supplies perfect for any seamstress or "altered art" artist......all displayed in unique antique pieces.




























This unique shop is located in a room all it's own.......just inside our main entrance at the start of Hall D.
































JoAnne personally hand-dyes everything from vintage Swiss 1920's silk ribbons, to burlap, to vintage rayon velvet, to birds and even tiny Christmas trees.








Also featured, are handmade collage tags, ribbon flowers, altered art supplies, new ribbon sold by the yard, hand-dyed lace, ephemera, spools, and so much more.














There is so much to see, and it is all so uniquely displayed, that you should take extra time to discover all the creative details that JoAnne has carefully seen to in her interesting shop.

Turner's Treasures.........


Introducing Debbie Turner (Lakewood's own Miss Congeniality) and Gary Sherwood, who have been doing our show since the beginning and together have a combined 30 years of experience.

You can find their shop just inside the entrance, to the left of the food court, in Hall A.




Among their beautiful treasures, you'll find vintage rhinestone pins and necklaces, bakelite jewelry, Victorian jewelry, and sterling silver charms to name only a few.









And then there are the unique Victorian mourning jewelry, beautiful cameos (shell carved, glass carved, and costume), a large selection of rosaries and religious medallions, and gorgeous brooches from Victorian to the 80's era.























This beautiful gold mesh collar and evening bag set is vintage Whiting and Davis.











If you have vintage jewelry that you need to match earrings to, Debbie has you covered with lots of choices!











They also carry unique license plate art by local artist Johnny Streetman in the shape of large fish and guitars.

Robert Adkins.......








If you are searching for quality English and American furniture at very fair prices.....be sure to shop with Robert in Hall D. He is located to the left of the food court along the front wall, and always has a large offering of furniture at every show.




In the pictures shown below, you can see an 1840's handmade Southern walnut washstand, and a handmade European pine nightstand, as well as a beautiful mahogany bow-front chest with French-style pulls, made by the Dixie Furniture Co. from the 40's.


At the very top is a wonderful mahogany extension table with 5 leaves and a silverware drawer. This piece would make a great desk by day, and a long banquet table for evening entertaining.
























Robert is very knowledgeable about his furniture, and always has a large variety of quality pieces at great prices.

Herman & Lorraine Tannenbaum......



When you find yourself in Hall G at the show, be sure to look for Herman's booth.....he and his wife Lorraine have a wonderfully eclectic offering of unique pieces.....




...like this amazing portrait done by the famous artist Robert Wesley Amick, a turn of the century artist who specialized in Western scenes, but did portraits to supplement his income.







This great vintage oak chair came from the home of TV actor Wes Sarginson.










And how unique to find a 1930's portrait of Charles Lindburgh on a beautiful gold-edge plate.












Here is a Victorian enhanced photo of water maidens with unique ornamental tin corners on the frame.....

The Potting Shed.......Carole Berg......

When you step into The Potting Shed--the creation of designer, and long-time Lakewood dealer, Carole Berg--it's like visiting an English village garden shop full of fresh flowers and plants, but the magic is that there are no live plants to water!

Carole specializes in creating the English garden look--without the work--by using upscale and quality florals, while incorporating wonderful primitives and garden antiques, to achieve a truly realistic look. Her favorite hobby is creating this look for clients in their home, or on site for special occasions.










With her design degree, Carole has worked in China designing inventory for the floral trade, and currently designs for seven different showrooms at AmericasMart in Atlanta.



























When you visit Carole (just inside the main entrance on the left) be sure to ask for one of her discount cards, and check out her 1/2 price sale tags scattered throughout the shop.
